The highlight of my summer was moving along with my wife from Seattle to Anacortes. As I write this, I can see the cool blue waters of Guemes Channel out my office window. (Alright, time to focus.)

Designed to help us be better writers and marketers, Ann’s playful and energetic tone always puts a smile on my face. The 168th edition features debunking common marketing myths, one of which really piqued my interest: a brand newsletter should come from the brand. With inboxes automatically routing emails into buckets (also check out Brian’s recommendation), it’s more critical than ever that your content is written in the tone of a human being and from a specific person.

This article from Litmus offers some useful insights as things progress with AI-generated summaries being integrated into major email clients.
