By Tim Yeadon, Donor Journey Strategist & Principal
My agency has a sponsor booth at this week's Nonprofit Association of Washington's conference. You can see us in person in Spokane on Friday, May 16, and then in Tacoma on Tuesday, May 20.
It's pretty exciting. We've never had a sponsor booth at an event before. I'm not really sure why I've never done this (but perhaps afterwards it will be clear, and I'll be sure to tell you why).
All this leads me to another point. Over the past 8+ years at Clyde Golden, we’ve found the agency working with numerous nonprofit or mission-focused companies. We didn’t actively seek them out. More have arrived since the pandemic, too. We just kept finding each other. And it’s been a good fit.
For instance, our work as a marketing agency has helped:
We’re really proud of this work.
We’ve found that lifecycle marketing principles have translated seamlessly into nonprofit work, where every donor is on a journey.
It's one reason we've decided (well, to be accurate, I've decided) to focus the agency's future work on helping nonprofits acquire new donors and convert them into lifelong supporters. I know we can help.
Also, during these increasingly chaotic times, perhaps this is how I can be most useful.
It's also why our LinkedIn page's name is now the super long Clyde Golden - Donor Journey Marketing Agency.
See you in Spokane (or Tacoma), or maybe even on the water!
- Tim
